Shawn is currently the City Administrator of Hastings, Nebraska. He oversees a $214 million budget, 400+ full-time employees, and 16 direct reports. He previously worked as a City Manager/CEO, Associate Vice President of Human Resources, and Assistant City Manager/Finance Director.
Altogether he has 10+ years of executive recruiting experience in local government and quasi-government entities.
Shawn holds the highest HR certification obtainable called the SPHR through HRCI. He has another senior level HR certification called the IPMA-SCP. He has a Masters degree in Public Administration.
